• 10 Week Season
• Played on Monday nights (times are estimated)
• 30 minute Chalk talk
• 60 minute on ice skills & instructional game
• Dates: April 1st to June 10th

Why is it called the Kinslow Cup?
After 10 weeks of learning how to skate and play hockey, you will play in the Kinslow Cup. It will be your first real hockey game and the winner will get to celebrate by hoisting the Kinslow Cup in the air and skating around the rink as if it was the real Stanley Cup.
The Kinslow Cup is named after Chuck Kinslow. Chuck passed away in August of 2010 at the age of 47. Not only was Chuck an avid skater who loved the game, he was an incredibly nice guy. Chuck started playing hockey as a sophomore in high school and continued to play club hockey for a few more years before his other passion of flying took over. He then picked up hockey again at the age of 40 and joined the Never Evers. Anyone who skated with him either as a fellow teammate or a student of his coaching, loved playing the game with him. His love for the game was obvious when you saw him on the ice. His Wife, Shelley says that Chuck was not a natural athlete but if you put something other than shoes on his feet, he did great. Not only was Chuck a great hockey player, he was a wonderful family man, friend and pilot. He passed down his passion for flying and skating to his son, Ian. In honor of his Dad, every year Ian presents the winning Never Ever team with the Kinslow Cup. The CK 7 patch on your jersey is a reminder that we will never forget Chuck Kinslow and his contribution to the hockey program here in Louisville.
